Privacy Policy

Your trust is the product. This policy explains what INEED2 collects, why, who we share it with, and the control you have — in plain language, for both people booking tasks and the taskers who complete them.

Introduction

INEED2, Inc. (“INEED2”, “we”, “us”) operates a two-sided task marketplace available through our mobile apps and website (together, the “Services”). INEED2 initially operates in Chicago, Illinois, USA. This Privacy Policy applies to everyone who uses INEED2 — whether you post tasks, complete them as a tasker, or both.

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

We collect only what we need to run a safe, reliable marketplace. The table below summarizes the categories of personal data we collect and why.

We do not collect sensitive categories of data (such as health or biometric data) except where strictly required for identity verification, and we never sell your personal data.

How we use your data

  • To create and manage your account and match tasks with taskers.
  • To process bookings, payments and payouts, and to prevent fraud.
  • To verify tasker identity and run background and safety checks.
  • To enable messaging, arrival tracking, ratings and support between users.
  • To send service messages (bookings, receipts, security alerts) and, with your consent, marketing you can opt out of at any time.
  • To keep the Services secure, debug problems and improve features.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

How we share data

We share personal data only in these limited situations:

  • Between users of a booking. Posters and taskers see the information needed to complete a task — such as first name, photo, approximate location, and messages.
  • Service providers. Payment processors, background-check providers, cloud hosting, mapping, analytics and customer-support tools, each bound by contract to protect your data.
  • Legal & safety. When required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or INEED2.
  • Business transfers. As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you.

We never sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

Tracking & analytics

We use first-party and limited third-party analytics to understand how the Services perform. On Apple devices, we will ask for your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking that would link your activity across other companies’ apps or websites. You can decline, and you can change this choice anytime in your device settings.

Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Booking and payment records are typically retained for the period required by law; other data is deleted or anonymized when your account is closed, subject to the exceptions above.

Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you and request a copy.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete your data (see “Deleting your account”).
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent.
  • Port your data to another service where technically feasible.

You can exercise most of these rights directly in the app under Settings → Privacy, or by contacting us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account in the INEED2 app, or by emailing [email protected]. Once confirmed, we delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except records we are legally required to retain.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls, and continuous monitoring. Payments are handled by PCI-DSS-compliant partners. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work hard to safeguard your information and will notify you and regulators of any breach as required by law.

Children’s privacy

INEED2 is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we will delete it promptly.

Governing law

The Services are operated from the United States. This policy and your use of INEED2 are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. As we expand beyond Chicago, we will update this policy to reflect additional regional requirements.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
